El próximo 3 de octubre, la Sala Siroco recibirá a Ren G, vocalista y cofundadora de Club Eat, dúo neoyorquino que se ha convertido en una de las propuestas más frescas y radicales de la electrónica actual.
Originaria de Long Island, Ren G comenzó como parte de la escena underground de clubes en Nueva York, alimentando su imaginario con el synthpop británico de los 80 (Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order) y el pop explosivo de divas como Britney Spears o Madonna. Tras diversas incursiones en colectivos artísticos y proyectos DIY vinculados a la moda y la performance, encontró en el productor Chicken a su socio creativo, dando vida a Club Eat: un híbrido de electroclash, hyperpop, techno y pop electrónico que desdibuja fronteras entre el dancefloor y la canción pop.
Con su EP Summer 21 y su celebrado debut START (2023), el dúo se consolidó como referente de una nueva ola de artistas que abrazan lo experimental sin perder la inmediatez del hook pop. Canciones como “Bleach”, “Clothes” o “Hyper” muestran esa tensión entre crudeza de club y dulzura melódica que caracteriza su propuesta.
Además de su trabajo en Club Eat, Ren G ha colaborado con productores y DJs de la escena neoyorquina, participando en fiestas underground que combinan música, moda y performance, ganándose un espacio como artista camaleónica y magnética.

On 3 October, Sala Siroco will welcome Ren G, vocalist and co-founder of Club Eat, a New York duo that has become one of the freshest and most radical acts in contemporary electronic music.
Originally from Long Island, Ren G started out as part of the underground club scene in New York, feeding her imagination with 80s British synthpop (Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order) and the explosive pop of divas such as Britney Spears and Madonna. After various forays into artistic collectives and DIY projects linked to fashion and performance, she found her creative partner in producer Chicken, giving life to Club Eat: a hybrid of electroclash, hyperpop, techno and electronic pop that blurs the boundaries between the dancefloor and pop music.
